A user at DIY web site Instructables—no doubt recognizing that summer is just around the corner—shares this simple recipe for making homemade ice cream with just five minutes of prep time, a few ingredients (frozen fruit, sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla), and a blender or food processor. If you really want a good ice cream consistency, you'll need to toss it in your freezer after blending (which would take more than five minutes), and there's some debate in the Instructables comments over whether or not it's technically ice cream, but everyone seems to agree that it's simple and delicious.
